How to use PS5 game sharing

On PlayStation systems, sharing games has always been normal, particularly in the past when actual game copies were more widely available. After finishing a game, PlayStation users could easily lend their game discs to a friend so that their friends may play it for themselves. On the PS5, sharing digital games is clearly done differently since there isn't a physical copy to give away.

Sony included the gameshare function on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 to enable gamers to share games with one another. On the PS5, it is referred to as the "Console Sharing and Offline Play" function.

Whatever the moniker, the functionality is always the same. You may share your game collection with a buddy on the PS5 by using gamesharing.

Remember that you may only play games with one buddy at a time. Prior to delving more into gameshare, it's critical to realize that its main purpose is to let users play games on a certain PS5 system.

How to turn on PlayStation 5

  1. Log in to your PSN account on your PS5.
  2. Head to Settings.
  3. Go to Users and Accounts.
  4. Navigate to the Other section.
  5. Select Console Sharing and Offline Play. Select ‘Disable’ if gamesharing is already on for this console.
  6. Log out of your PSN account on your PS5.
  7. Log in to your PSN account on your friend’s PS5 console.
  8. Go to the Console Sharing and Offline Play menu once again, and select ‘Don’t Disable’ option.

And that's it! You may now use these consoles to play PlayStation games from your library. On your PS5 system, you may log back into your PSN account and go on playing your games without any problems.
