The First Descendant: How to prestige and maximise weapon level

The First Descendant has a lot to offer. either provides no explanation or a poor one. It's lucky and bad at the same time since you can either enjoy the excitement of finding it on your own (if that's your thing) or lose out because you're scared to waste a resource before fully understanding what it can do. Weapons have levels and may be improved using a prestige system, much like Descendants.

In The First Descendant, what is the maximum weapon level?

Similar to the Descendants who use them, weapons have a maximum level of 40. You may see this Proficiency Level by putting your cursor over a weapon in your collection. A weapon may be improved by having its level reset using the Assign Module Socket Type procedure once it has reached level 40.

• Open your inventory and select the weapon you wish to prestige.
• Open the “Module Settings” menu.
• Select “Module Additional Settings.”
• Select “Assign Module Socket Type.”
• Choose one of the five Module Socket Types and which slot you want it to occupy.

Assigning a Module Socket Type reduces the cost of the Mod placed in that slot by half, replicating the prestige procedure for Descendants. This makes it possible to add more costly Mods without reducing the total number. A fully upgraded Rifling Reinforcement Mod, for instance, would only cost eight rather than sixteen.

The Crystallisation Catalyst is necessary for the procedure, in addition to owning a level 40 weapon. You may create this item by farming its different components. Regarding weapon levelling, no matter which of the three equipped weapons is in use at any one time, they all get passive experience.
