The last part of SoD, Phase 4, will start on July 11, 2024, according to a new developer video from Blizzard for World of Warcraft Season of Discovery. Players will be able to join the last two raids, Onyxia's Lair and Molten Core, and level up to 60 during this last phase.
Beginning on November 30, 2023, WoW Season of Discovery began, with each succeeding phase commencing around three months later. This has led us to this point, when WoW SoD is entering its last and fourth stage. After Phase 4 begins, material releases for the last Phase will be spaced out by a few weeks. The Season of Discovery officially begins Phase 4 on July 11; this unlocks all remaining missions and zones and raises the level cap to 60.On July 18, one week from now, two World Bosses will be accessible via brand-new Instance Portals. Azuregos, the blue dragon of Azshara, and Lord Kazzak, the Doomlord of the Blasted Lands, are the two World Bosses. The two last raids of World of Warcraft Season of Discovery will finally launch on July 25, one week later. Molten Core is the first raid, a 20-player game that features 10 legendary enemies with updated gear sets for Tier 1, new treasure, and "more." Though Blizzard has mostly been quiet, I have a sneaking suspicion that something exciting about Sulfuras is coming. The Onyxia's Lair raid, which includes the notorious black dragon and her many whelps, will also be available on July 25. Take care of it!After Phase 4 of Season of Discovery concludes, Blizzard hasn't said what will happen to World of Warcraft Classic, although World of Warcraft Cataclysm Classic has been available for play for a little more than a month.Discovery Season Starting on July 11, 2024, is Season 4.
