"While it's never appropriate to claim credit for someone else's creation, I'm delighted Lego acknowledged their error and extended an apology. Back to constructing now! Kramm made a post on X.
[First-hand narrative] The Lego Group has sent Hideo Kojima, the developer of Death Stranding, a model of Sam Porter Bridges from Death Stranding as a gift in honor of his post-Konami series. One Lego community creator, however, asserts that the firm copied their work and that the model's design isn't totally unique. It's no secret that Kojima loves Legos. In addition to designing the map for Metal Gear Solid using Lego assistance, he has shared several of the kits he has previously purchased, including the Lego Pac-Man set. One more special, more contemporary kit was given straight from Lego Group to Kojima as a present. The filmmaker seemed excited, but Jonas Kramm, a Lego enthusiast and MOC builder (that stands for "my own creation" for those who are not acquainted with the LEGO fanbase), wasn't feeling the same way. Kramm claims that Lego duplicated the design without their permission.
There is no denying how similar the two are. Kramm retweeted Kojima once more and tagged the business with the statement, "Wait! That's my 2020 design! Why did you [sic] copy my design without asking, @LEGO_Group?Kramm's prior patent on the concept serves as sufficient evidence. They shared images of their January 29, 2020, constructions that were influenced by Death Stranding. Other characters like Fragile, Higgs Monaghan, and Die-Hardman are also included in Kramm's drawings. Without any background information, they might all be mistaken for official Lego replicas of the Death Stranding crew, given their cleverness and accuracy. I really like Fragile's umbrella—such a striking style! The Lego Group's gift has a striking resemblance to Kramm's Sam construct, an observation that was acknowledged by various people in Kojima's answers. Other people have noticed Lego's purported copycat because Reddit users shared the tweet and supported the company. The majority of people seem to feel that Kramm deserves some recognition from Lego, even if it isn't exactly like the brick and wasn't created using just Lego items.Ontario Online Casino has contacted Lego Group in an attempt to get a response; if they do, we will update this article.
