What is it focusing on,
I naturally assumed that Metroid Prime 4 was the major project that Retro Studios had been working on since the release of Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze when it was unveiled earlier today during the Nintendo E3 Spotlight. Apparently, I was mistaken.
It was revealed by IGN that Nintendo's Bill Trinen said in a group interview that the developer is not working on the game. As an alternative, a "talented new team" lead by veteran producer Kensuke Tanabe is handling it.
I'm hoping that before the new year, we'll get a proper look at Metroid Prime 4 since I'm already too excited by the announcement teaser. Furthermore, this bad guy has two days remaining. Nintendo has plenty of time to demonstrate to us what Retro has been up to over the last five years.
