Daniel Radcliffe, who gained notoriety for playing the lead role in the Harry Potter films, has expressed his desire to see the last Harry Potter book and the films adapted for the next Harry Potter television series.
In an interview with People after his first Tony Award triumph, Radcliffe was asked which book he was most eager to see the play adapt. "The last one was always one of my favorite books and movies," he said. "I mean, it'll be a while before they get to that, I assume."
For those who do not know, The Deathly Hallows was the last Harry Potter book. Its narrative was divided into two films to conclude the Harry Potter saga. All seven of J. K. Rowling's Harry Potter novels will be adapted for the reboot series.
Radcliffe is correct to say that there will be a wait—the performance will reportedly continue for ten years. Additionally, HBO's Max will host the Harry Potter television adaption when it debuts in 2026. It would take some time given that release timeframe and the amount of work required to get there.
Regarding the fans who are expecting for an appearance from Daniel Radcliffe in the program, the actor has already rejected the notion twice. He earlier said to E! Online that he doesn't believe he would make a cameo since the program has to make a "clean break." In 2023, the actor also revealed to ComicBook that he is "very excited to have that torch passed" and believes a cameo is not necessary to "physically pass it."
