The 3D version of the beloved beat-em-up series, Double Dragon Revive, was recently unveiled by Weekly Famitsu magazine. It comes from developer Yuke's, who has worked on many WWE games up to 2018’s WWE 2K19, among other titles. Yuke also worked on Rumble Roses. The brawler, which is stretching its strength for a 2025 release for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, now has a live Steam page and a official website.
The teaser trailer for the next installment below, released by publisher Arc System Works, offers the first glimpse at it.
If Abobo is the first person you think of when a new Double Dragon game is announced, don't worry—he's still here, even if his head isn't quite the same size as his body anymore. There are more muscular monsters vying for the Lee brothers' attention besides Abobo. Good old Bimmy and Jimmy will get to battle "a variety of powerful foes from their past," according to Revive . We'll see how many of those iconic foes wind up making a comeback since it seems that the most recent addition hasn't lost its sense of humor. .With its straightforward controls and more contemporary balance, Double Dragon Revive aims to attract new players and is more than just a basic button-masher. Please attempt to stop me from pushing buttons!
Given that the announcement notes that the crew members had worked on Arc System Works fighting games in the past, it's possible that the combat may be more complex than in some of the earlier entries. All I have to know is that I can push people into trash and refrigerators and pick up firearms. Generally speaking, the little things are what sustain us.
