July 16–17 is Amazon Prime Day, and there will be plenty of sales. A few treats are in store for the video game section as well, with Prime Gaming preparing to give out a sizable freebie to all of its Prime members.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, a game from Rocksteady Studio, was launched in January of this year and is scheduled to be included in Amazon's large free offer. The game is one of three freebies that Prime Gaming is giving away to its members. The other two rewards are Chivalry 2 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. All three games can be claimed for free through the Epic Games Store between July 16 and July 18 at 12 a.m. PT.
Although AAA games are often included in offers, Warner Bros.' decision to include the game in a significant giveaway seems rather unexpected. Given the game's player count history and Warner Bros.' disappointment, the choice may help attract new players to Suicide Squad, which might be vital for the game. Furthermore, the Season 2 content plan is jam-packed, and the Arkhamverse game may get a fresh lease of life thanks to the continual stream of new players and material.Since June, Prime Gaming has been giving away a number of titles. The games that follow will be revealed in stages before the main Prime Day game launches. Some of the big names that will be revealed are Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge.
