.It will be a lot of fun to get up to no good in Hitman 3's full-blown VR mode as Agent 47. Although I was previously excited about the game's virtual reality component, this gameplay trailer has convinced me.
Not only the Hitman 3 levels, but the "full trilogy," as IO Interactive refers to it, will be supported in VR. Even though you may have mastered places like Paris and Miami by now, the classic stages ought to have a new lease of life.
Though its location isn't perfect (PS5 users will still need the backward-compatible PS4 version of Hitman 3 in order to play in VR), it seems like the studio is making a lot of effort with PlayStation VR. This doesn't appear to be the same as the "bonus VR missions" that are half-steps in other places.
The fact that this isn't being offered as a stand-alone game in addition to Hitman 3 charging $60 seems absurd to me. The fact that this is limited to the outdated PlayStation VR gear for the time being is also really bizarre.
