Video and pictures of the newest game in the eminently fashionable pinball machine line have been made available by Stern Pinball. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, a vampy valley girl and horror legend, will finally make her pinball debut with this release.
The House of Horrors of Elvira will be the third pinball machine, after 1989's Elvira and the Party Monsters and 1996's Scared Stiff., to feature the sensual late-night TV personality. This Elvira pinball adventure is the largest and greatest yet thanks to the return of veteran pinball designers Greg Frenes and Dennis Nordman, who also developed both of the previous Elvira games.The plot of House of Horrors centers on Elvira's ruse to sell off her historic house, but not before clearing its hallowed corridors of the ghosts, ghoulies, and monsters that have passed through it over her illustrious career. In House of Horrors, beloved Elvira pinball elements like the DeadHeads and Junk in the Trunk will make a comeback. Additionally, full-motion footage of the fiercely attractive woman herself will be included, along with call-outs and clips created just for the new game.
In other words,There will be many versions of Elvira's House of Horrors available for purchase, as is often the case with contemporary pinball releases. These consist of a Premium Edition that costs approximately $8,000, a Limited Edition that costs approximately $10,000 and includes a shaker motor, mirrored backglass, and exclusive artwork, and a Signature Edition that costs approximately $10,000 and has hyper-chrome embossing, hand-signed artwork by The Mistress, and a swatch of velvet from her famous sofa. Only 50 copies of this edition will be sold globally, therefore those who are interested should "Call for price." Whoa.
I still wouldn't mind having Elvira and the Party Monsters machine, which I haven't had for years.
Later in 2019, Elvira's House of Horrors is anticipated to launch.
