In Demon Slayer, Tengen Uzui is the Sound Hashira. Who is she?

Demon Slayer's Hashira are the most formidable fighters able to battle the demons. However, even with their great combat prowess, they are not unbeatable. On duty, many have fallen or retired. Many people however still contribute to the corps in different ways. The former Sound Hashira Tengen Uzui is the ideal illustration of it.In contrast to the other essays of this kind, my focus will be on topics that have already been depicted in the anime. If you haven't followed up with the most recent season yet, there may be some small spoilers since I will be discussing topics from Season 4, the Hashira Training Arc.

Tengen Uzui: who is she?

Tengen Uzui is one of the key characters of the Entertainment District Arc, along with Nezuko and the stupid trio. The group is coerced into accompanying him on his quest to save his three wives by him. It is not a sign of weakness that he requires their assistance. He is among the series' strongest Hashira, but that is a topic for another day.In order to force the three to penetrate the Entertainment District and get as much information as possible, Tengen kidnaps them. Tengen himself keeps a low profile to keep an eye on what's going on in the area. Tengen demonstrates his method of operation throughout this mission. Many people in the series have observed that he has one of the prettiest faces in the force, and he makes use of this fact. When it comes to persuasion, he makes use of his appearance. Even though his standard demon slayer gear is ninja-like, he still likes everything to be spectacular and eye-catching.

Tengen has three wives—why?

Tengen was raised in a shinobi clan that trained its members using harsh techniques. Due to the aforementioned training, three of Tengen's siblings passed away before they were 10, and his remaining four siblings were slain by Tengen or his surviving brother. But Tengen didn't even realize he was sibling suicide until he was fifteen. At that point, there was just him, his brother, and his father. Nevertheless, he chose to quit the clan since he couldn't bring himself to murder any of them.Because the Uzui family practices polygamy, Tengen had three wives—Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru—when he left his tribe. Within the family, there is also a widespread belief that getting married is only a way to increase the number of children. Tengen, on the other hand, didn't like the concept. He also altered his wives' perspectives when he and his three wives fled. He instructed them to forgo their kunoichi teachings and put their own needs ahead of the objective. His wife sincerely adored him, and he truly loved all three of them.Tengen and his women left their village soon after, traveling to Kagaya to officially join the demon slayers in their fight. As seen during the Entertainment District Arc, Makio, Suma, and Hinatsuru would follow and assist Tengen on his missions even though they were not members of the corps.

What is Tengen Uzui's strength?

Even though Tengen was no longer the Sound Hashira, he was still a formidable opponent. When he arrived at his post, he was unquestionably an expert fighter. He was the quickest of his classmates and had the second-highest strength, only surpassed by Gyomei Himejima, the Stone Hashira. Furthermore, he is the first of his classmates' Hashira to defeat an Upper Moon without waking his mark.His rigorous shinobi training, which helped him become poison resistant and learn how to move discreetly, is what gives him his exceptional fighting skills. Like Zenitsu, Tengen also has improved hearing. He can even echolocate using his hearing, which improves his fighting skills. Tengen, a Hashira, is an expert in the Sound Breathing, a Breathing Style he invented. This Breathing Style mimics noises as its name implies, which causes most of its strikes to produce explosive damage.Tengen uses his Sound Breathing in conjunction with his improved hearing to perform a move he refers to as Musical Score. Tengen examines his opponent's rhythm and attack strategies using Musical Score. Then, in response to them, he devises a countertactic. Even though Tengen had to give up his limb and eye in order to beat Upper Moon Six, the technique is so lethal that it takes time to master.Tengen is forced to resign as a Hashira due to his injuries. He nonetheless contributes to getting the corps ready for their fight with Muzan. Additionally, he still has the strength to defeat basic Tanjiro and the other corps members with lesser ranks.
