Cyno is a five-star Electro Polearm DPS in Genshin Impact .. These are the finest teams, artifacts, and weapons Cyno has to deal punishment to your foes!
Plays
Aggravate DPS Cyno is an on-field weapon. Compared to other Electro DPS troops, he is much more effective in Dendro teams with to his EM-focused Ascension 4 Passive.
Cyno's Burst is mostly responsible for his damage. Cyno's Normal Attacks have a greater AoE and deliver Electro damage when he utilizes his Burst. An Endseer interval will be indicated by a big purple eye that may sometimes appear on the screen. Cyno's Skill may be used to unleash a more potent version of himself during an Endseer pause.
Prepare your support skills, switch to Cyno, and then quickly utilize his Burst and Skill. Once the eye emerges, you may use your skill and spam his combination, getting into a pattern of spamming Normal Attacks. Depending on your circumstances, you may finish Cyno's combo early by switching to a teammate. However, doing this throughout the whole of Cyno's Burst needs a significant amount of field time.
Keep in mind that Cyno's Burst should be leveled up before his Normal Attacks . You may disregard his Normal Attack levels since his Electro damage increases in proportion to his Burst Talent level.
Weaponry
The Scarlet Sands staffCyno's best-in-slot is, of course, his iconic 5-star Polearm. This weapon differs somewhat from the R5 White Tassel, although not much.Ancient Jade Winged SpearShould you be in possession of an extra, this is Cyno's second-best weapon. Its inertia provides ample time for Cyno's whole combination. The Fjords' Ballad and DeathmatchThese are the four-star weapons that can be acquired with the Battle Pass. They can perform better than the 5-star weaponry below at R5. They function about the same at R1. Whether they are worth $10–50 depends on you.Calamity Queller, White Tassel, Staff of Homa, and Vortex VanquisherWhite Tassel's 48% Normal Attack DMG is still beneficial to Cyno's Normal Attacks when he is in his Burst state. Its low Base ATK makes it a 3-star weapon, although Cyno isn't as concerned about ATK as other DPS units are. My basic, cost-effective option is the R5 White Tassel. Chests in the Liyue area contain White Tassels. The performance of the 5-star weapons listed underneath it is the same if you happen to have any of them. Kitain Cross SpearInazuma's 4-star craftable Polearm is called Kitain Cross Spear. Depending on how much Energy Recharge Cyno your squad requires, it performs differently. Additionally, bear in mind that using this weapon stops you from using Cyno's Skill prior to his Burst.Relics
Thundering Fury (4TF) (4) piecesWith this set, you may use Cyno's Skill twice as often due to a reduction in its cooldown. However, only 50% of these Skill uses will occur within the Endseer time, and there may be some tight scheduling. As soon as your skill enters the cooldown, you must use it often to avoid missing an Endseer proc. Although I think the gameplay of the other sets below is less stressful, this is technically Cyno's greatest artifact set.Gladiator's Finale (4GF) / Gilded Dreams (4GD) / 4 piecesThese are my go-to sets since they are simpler to farm and provide a more laid-back gaming experience. The realm where Gilded Dreams are found is also where you may get Deepwood Memories, which you'll probably be gathering for Cyno's Dendro partner anyway. If you don't already have a workable 4GF set, you can get them via artifact strongboxes. Combination of two piecesUntil you are able to collect one of the four sets mentioned above, combine two-piece sets that provide Elemental Mastery, Electro DMG, or ATK if all else fails.Sands | Goblet | Circlet |
Elemental Mastery ATK | Electro DMG Elemental Mastery | CRIT Rate/DMG Elemental Mastery |

Teams
Cyno ought to be teamed up with a Dendro colleague at all times. Although Nahida does the most damage, her skill only affects the enemy that she marks. Because Cyno finishes his Burst state after switching off and newly-spawned adversaries do not have Dendro on them, this might work against you in multi-wave gameplay where enemies perish swiftly. When it comes to multi-wave mobbing, Dendro Traveler performs better.Baizhu and Yaoyao can both provide healing and off-field Dendro if you require defensive utility. Though both are undoubtedly useful, Baizhu is superior for Cyno since Yaoyao needs crucial field time to do the majority of her healing.Hyperbloom Dendro, Hydro, and Electro are combined by Cyno's Hyperbloom teams to create a blend of Quicken and Hyperbloom. Although the Hydro sometimes shortens an enemy's Quicken uptime, the extra Hyperbloom damage is usually still advantageous. To assist Cyno get energy, I suggest adding a second Electro character, but you may also have two Dendro characters. Mix and match your best characters from the following list.- Dendro: Dendro Traveler, Nahida, Baizhu, Yaoyao
- Hydro: Furina, Xingqiu, Yelan
- Flex: Fischl, Beidou, Kuki Shinobu, Kujou Sara, Zhongli
Accelerate
While they might be easier to play, Cyno's pure Quicken teams often do less damage than Hyperbloom teams. Cyno and your preferred Dendro teammate are all you need. You may use Electro and twice as much. Dendro, if desired, or include one Anemo unit together with four pieces of Viridescent Venerer. Depending on your setup, Swirling Electro may be challenging. If you find that you can't Swirl Electro comfortably, you might want to think about Zhongli.- Dendro: Dendro Traveler, Nahida, Baizhu, Yaoyao
- Electro: Fischl, Beidou, Kuki Shinobu, Kujou Sara, Yae Miko
- Flex: Sucrose, Kazuha, Zhongli
