While Vampire Survivors has built a reasonably straightforward Bullet Hell survivor genre, there are a few aspects that could be a little puzzling for someone unfamiliar with the genre. One such aspect in Swarm that may be difficult for novice players to understand is the Access Cards system. Everything you need to know about Access Cards is provided here, along with information on how to get them and how they interact with the Card Collector Augment.
In Swarm, what are Access Cards used for?
For a certain Weapon, Champion Ability, or Passive that you have previously obtained in LoL Swarm, Access Cards are unique instant upgrade drops. These Access Cards drop on the ground where the adversary dies along with a few gold coins if you beat an Elite or Mini-Boss monster on any Lol Swarm level. A popup showing a single random possible upgrade will appear for all associated players as soon as you walk over the Access Card and pick it up.
Three options are available to you when you level up regularly, and if you are not at your maximum, you may be able to add extra improvements. Access Cards, on the other hand, do not allow you to make selections; instead, they will choose one upgrade at random for you.
If all of your weapons and passives are already at their maximum level and you don't have any further upgrades to get, you may opt to give all of your teammates 25 Gold or heal 25% of their maximum health.
In Swarm, how does the Card Collector Augment function?
Access Cards are the center of one of the augmentations in LoL Swarm, Card Collector. This is a default augment that you may get as soon as the game launches; you don't have to meet any prerequisites to get it. You will get five percent of the damage from each Access Card you acquire with Card Collector after donning this augment.
This augment may result in a significant damage boost, particularly if you use it early in the level and then go on to defeat Elite and Mini-boss foes to gather Access Cards and enhance your damage bonus. But as the Card Collector description states, this only applies to Access Cards that are picked up after getting the augment. Consequently, you won't benefit from this Augment nearly as much if you pick it while you're halfway through or almost finished with a run.
