Excited for the much awaited Tekken 8 sparked a commotion among fans when they discovered that the contentious anti-tampering program Denuvo was mentioned in the Steam End User License Agreement. Thankfully, game director Katsuhiro Harada says he has "no plans to introduce Denuvo or anything else" on Twitter.
This EULA is most likely just a duplicate of TEKKEN7 or anything similar (I haven't registered this, but I'm sure). In other words,In any case, quit your annoying allergic responses to everything and sit quietly—I have no intention of introducing Denuvo or anything else in TEKKEN8. Harada surmises that the reason Denuvo is mentioned is probably because the EULA is a ripoff of Tekken 7. Harada's Tweet is encouraging, even if it doesn't provide clear proof that Tekken 8 won't include anti-tamper software.
Some of the issues of Tekken 7 could be avoided in Tekken 8.Denuvo is used by developers to stop (or at least slow down) game cracking and piracy. It should ideally have no impact on gameplay. However, the anti-tamper software has been a source of complaints for both players and developers in the past, leading to some developers finally deleting it from their games. Denuvo has responded to the unfavorable press, yet the problems remain. When Tekken 7 was launched in 2015, it was positively received. It did, however, experience frame rate dips and other PC performance problems. Harada ascribed this to Denuvo, the anti-tamper software included in the game. This naturally explains why Harada is so passionate about avoiding Denuvo and why fans were offended by the inclusion of Denuvo in the EULA of Tekken 8.Third-party anti-tamper middleware. They said that "it's fix soon" and that the applications are updated in real time. We are going to review and revise. In other words,Thank youRT @OceanTired: What accomplishes the encryption software? There is no set date for the PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S releases of Tekken 8, but it will happen eventually.
