How to purchase every Facewear accessory in FFXIV at Dawntrail

A new glamor slot was introduced to Final Fantasy XIV as part of the update that gave us Dawntrail.— Face coverings. These products take the place of the ones that were previously in the Fashion Accessory category, but if you know where to search, you may also find some new ones.

As of right now, Final Fantasy XIV offers ten different Facewear items, but more will probably be introduced in future updates. As such, as soon as any new Facewear products are introduced, this guide will be updated to reflect them.

Pre-FFXIV 7.0 facewear items

You may simply get your glasses back if you had them before to the release of 7.0. After being taken from a Calamity Salvager, they will instantly turn into Facewear pieces in a choice of twelve colors.

If you had any of the following Facewear before the slot was enabled in Dawntrail, you may get them back from a Calamity Salvager:

• False Oval Spectacles
• False Shaded Spectacles
• False Classic Spectacles
• Rose-colored Spectacles

At the Gold Saucer, you may buy a variety of Facewear products to add to your collection of hues. Speak with the Prize Attendant in the Gold Saucer (X:5.1, Y:6.6) to do this.This is a list of every Facewear item available and its price:

• The Faces We Wear – Contemporary Pince-nez (40,000 MGP)
• The Faces We Wear – Minstrel’s Spectacles (90,000 MGP)
• The Faces We Wear – Oval Spectacles (100,000 MGP)
• The Faves We Wear – Rimless Glasses (70,000 MGP)
• The Faces We Wear – Thick-rimmed Glasses (30,000 MGP)

The following retailers offer a few distinct styles of Facewear for purchase:

• Maisenta in New Gridania (X:11.5, Y:11.2)
• Bango Zango in Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (X:9.9, Y:11.4)
• Roarich in Ul’dah – Steps of Nald (X:10.6, Y:9.5)

• The Faces We Wear – Monocles (3,000 Gil)

Additional FFXIV Facewear sources

If you didn't already have a pair of The Faces We Wear - Rose-colored Spectacles before 7.0, you may get them via Trisassant in Old Sharlayan (X:12.0, Y:13.3). To buy them, you must first unlock and complete the variation dungeon Mount Rokkon, which costs three Rokkon Potsherds apiece.The Faces We Wear - Classic Spectacles are presently the most difficult to find Facewear item. Submarine Ventures is the source of these. You must send your FC on a Venture to Anthemoessa with a rank 91 submarine if you want to get them.
