Players may hold their weapons in either of the Agents' hands in Riot Games' Valorant. The default position allows the user to handle weapons, abilities, and ordinances with their right hand. Nonetheless, players are free to choose the left-handed perspective as well.
It's debatable if this enhances gameplay in any way, but it's still good to have the option in Valorant. Nevertheless, here's how to convert to left-handed view in Valorant if you're ready to give it a try:
- Start Valorant.
- Head to the Settings option by clicking the gear icon present in the top-right corner of the screen.
- In the General tab, scroll down to the Other section.
- Navigate to the “First Person Handedness” and click on Left.
All you need to do is do that to switch to holding the weapons in your left hand. During a match, you may also swap hands by going to Settings and doing the same as previously.
Even for someone who is entirely left-handed like myself, the concept of the right-hand orientation in shooter games has been around for so long that, when I attempted it in Valorant and Counter-Strike, it simply seemed wrong. Maybe it's simply a matter of habit and familiarity; for example, left-handed people are used to finding the mouse on the right in computer configurations.
Therefore, it's excellent if the orientation seems natural, but you can easily switch back to the right-handed mode. Simply choose Right under "First Person Handedness" and follow the previously mentioned instructions.
