The first-ever raid in Destiny 2 took place on the Leviathan, a massive planet-eating spacecraft that was home to the banished Cabal Emperor Calus. Even though Calus would ultimately follow in the footsteps of the Witness, in the years before Lightfall, he was either mildly amused or indifferent about Guardians and their pranks. Thus, the Leviathan Raid was a madcap celebration with the last boss battle being a mechanical stand-in for Calus. November 10, 2020 was sunset on the Leviathan.

#2: Filmed on December 5, 2017, Leviathan: Eater of Worlds

Bungie chose to give Raid within the first year of Destiny 2's post-launch DLC, instead of releasing full-fledged Raids.Lairs as an alternative, the Eater of Worlds being the first. In order to eliminate the Vex consciousness that became stuck within the planet-eating systems of the vessel, Eater of Worlds ordered Calus to send the Guardians on a crazy rampage across the Leviathan. The Eater of Worlds, however shorter and less complex than the Leviathan itself, was also planned to sunset on November 10, 2020.

#3: May 8, 2018 - Leviathan: Spire of Stars

The Spire of Stars served as the second and, essentially, last Leviathan Raid Lair. Here, Calus again appealed to the Guardians for assistance. But this time, Cabal posed a threat: a Red Legion attack team under Val Ca'uor's command was pursuing Calus in an effort to bring the Legion's honor to an end. But the Guardians made sure Ca'uor never had a chance to touch Calus with his filthy paws. Similar to the other Leviathan Raids, on November 10, 2020, the Spire of Stars also came to an end.

#4: Final Request - September 14, 2018The first boss from Destiny 2's The Last Wish raid.

The ultimate conclusion of the Forsaken campaign The Last Wish raid was a DLC. The Last Wish, one of Bungie's most intricate and captivating works of material to date, offers players an enormous list of mysteries to uncover in addition to a plethora of fascinating mechanics that overlap. Some people believe that the last meeting and the subsequent battle with Riven, the last wish dragon, is still the greatest experience ever.

The Scourge of the Past Raid was an additional piece of content that was discontinued on November 10, 2020. It was easy to play, quick, entertaining, and included a ton of fantastic stuff. In Scourge, an unlikely renegade Eliksni—later known as Eramis, Kell of Darkness—and her gang attempted to detonate a nuclear bomb within the Last City's defenses.

The Crown of Sorrow was the last raid to have ended on November 10, 2020. Even while this raid isn't a Lair, it does take place on the Leviathan, where Gahlran, a unique Cabal clone, succumbed to the titular Crown's power and assumed leadership of a horde of Hive who were imprisoned there. But under Savathun's command, Gahlran turned on Calus, and the Guardians had to defeat the mutant.

Guardians visited the Black Garden for the first time since the events of the first Destiny thanks to the Garden of Salvation. As the focal point of the Shadowkeep Guardians faced out against the Sol Divisive Vex, who worshipped darkness, in the DLC Garden of Salvation. The Guardians were tasked with protecting an enigmatic Darkness beacon that had triggered during the events of the DLC's campaign mode. This raid is especially significant lore-wise since it would debut the entity wielding the Darkness—the so-called Witness—during the events of Garden of Salvation.

Eramis makes a reappearance in Deep Stone Crypt as the head of the Eliksni House of Darkness. While many of her lieutenants were destroyed by the Guardians during the Beyond Light campaign, some remained to launch an attack on Clovis Bray's Exo-cloning facility, the Deep Stone Crypt. A last confrontation with Exo Fallen and the notorious Guardian murderer Taniks results from this. This raid offers excellent scenery, entertaining gameplay, a wide range of features, and good rewards.

Guardians were dispatched on a harrowing journey across the marshes of Savathun's Throne World by the Vow of the Disciple. There, the Hive God of deceit succeeded in disabling a real Darkness Pyramid. But within was Rhulk, the First Disciple, a murderous, ferocious creature determined to aid the Witness in taking on its Final Form. Despite all of these formalities, the Vow of the Disciple is an exciting Raid that reveals to players the truth about the Darkness for the first time.

The second repeated is King's Fall.Goal 1 Attack approaching Destiny 2. Essentially, this is the tale of how six god-killing Guardians met the metaphorical creator, Hive God Oryx. The Raid is mostly quite faithful to its original form, while certain details are modified because of the changing meta and gear availability in Destiny 2. A crucial component of Destiny material, King's Fall is a true-to-form resurrection, much like the Vault of Glass.

#12: March 10, 2023 - The Source of Nightmares

Destiny 2: The Final Shape's splash image featuring the Guardians and the Witness's face.
A picture from BungieDestiny 2: The Last Form Attack is the first time Bungie has chosen to link a raid this closely to a DLC's main storyline. Salvation's Edge is noteworthy because it is the second-to-last assignment the Guardians complete in order to destroy the Witness permanently in a titanic 12-man fight. Thus, it follows that this specific raid is among the most difficult ones that we've witnessed thus far. Just one unit Salvation's Edge was finished by fireteam in the first 24 hours after its release, demonstrating just how difficult it is.
