The One Piece manga is heating up, particularly after that lore dump. One character is taking center stage in the Egghead Arc despite the flurry of happenings and discoveries. It is, as you have no doubt surmised from the title, Jewelry Bonney.

Jewels A Paramythia Devil Fruit called Bonney's Age-Age Fruit gives its users the ability to change the age of its prey. She obtains physical advantages over her opponents by ageing or de-aging herself. She may also avoid settlements and different securities thanks to it. Bonney's age manipulation, it turns out, extends beyond the current era. In the manga, she simply pulled from what she describes as a twisted future to morph into Gear Five Luffy.
The subject of her fruit's potential limitations is then brought up by this. It's quite likely that Bonney may materialize futures in which she gains the power of other Devil Fruit users if she has the ability to access prospective possibilities. It gives her alternatives, even if it is restricted to Human-Human Fruit powers. Sengoku's Human-Human Fruit, Model: Buddha, is one example.
I won't go too far, however, and claim that Bonney's Devil Fruit is superior than Luffy's. Though the details are yet unknown, her power undoubtedly has restrictions. Right now, all we can do is guess as to what they could be. We do know, however, that she needs a tremendous amount of energy to maintain her Nika form for extended periods of time.
The question of whether she can really use Nika's ability to alter reality and the surroundings or whether her metamorphosis is restricted to mimicking the physical form is also crucial. In my opinion, the latter is accurate. Devil Fruit skills are often restricted by One Piece, particularly those that are otherwise quite strong. Kozuki Toki's Time-Time Fruit, for example, may enable her to go into the future, but not into the past. Moreover, she is unable to change where she is while traversing.
The Age-Age Fruit nonetheless rises to the top of the list of the strongest Devil Fruits in the series despite that restriction. She may get perfect protection only by copying the Human-Human Fruit, Model: Buddha's form. Similar to this, Onyudo's enormous physical will supports her physical prowess in the Human-Human Fruit Model. And of course, there are Nika's pliable qualities.
Bonney might be the next big thing.
Luffy's metamorphosis into Nika has compelled the Five Elders to take action. His ability to threaten the World Government is one reason for it; the fruit's link to the Void Century is another.
Bonney is now in a vulnerable situation as a result. Even though her newfound powers are very potent, the World Government has her as a top target. It's unlikely that the Five Elders, who already see Luffy as a serious danger, would accept another person with comparable abilities. After that, Bonney is compelled to flee from the Straw Hat Pirates. Ultimately, the whole Egghead is under lockdown by the World Government. The road that the Giants and the Straw Hat Pirates made is the only way out.
To achieve this, there are two methods. Bonney has the option to join the crew entirely or form an alliance with the Straw Hat Pirates, much as Kid and Law did. There are many reasons why I believe the latter to be more likely. The majority of Bonney's crew, in contrast to Law and Kid, consists of fishermen who want to keep her safe. However, they lack Kid and Law's troupes' fighting prowess as well. Taking on the World Government could only result in their downfall.
Here's the problem, however. Bonney is already aware of Kuma's prior involvement with Egghead. She became aware of her terrible past and the sacrifices that everyone had made for her. And there's the dilemma. She probably wouldn't want to sacrifice her crewmates in order to achieve her objective. However, given what the World Government did to her father, Bartholomew Kuma, she would not want to allow them to escape. She should join the Straw Hat Pirates as soon as possible. She offers her skills to help the Straw Hat Pirates further their goal and receives their protection by doing this. In essence, everyone wins in this scenario.
