Games that resemble Souls seem to be more popular than ever. The director of one of the newest entries in the genre, Lies of P, has now announced that a Lies of P sequel is in the works, after the project's very successful September debut.The information was revealed in a recently published director's letter video directed by Ji Won Choi. He started by expressing gratitude to the audience for their support and restating that the game had sold one million copies since its September 19 release. The team's "highest priority is developing the DLC and working on our sequel," he said.The next patch for the game is scheduled to release in November, as confirmed by the director. The Weapon Assembly System will be balanced as a result of "certain blades and handles not meeting expectations."Ji Won Choi said that the Neowiz Games staff is aware that some players were experiencing issues with the game's early difficulties. In order to ease any early difficulties, the next patch will make the Rising Dodge Ability a default talent that players may choose. Furthermore, Polendia is going to sell two more quartz pieces from his shop's initial condition.Free cosmetics will also be available in the November Lies of P patch. Along with the Alchemist's Hat and a pair of spectacles, Alidoro's outfit—which includes his mask—is being added. An additional face accessory slot is being added to allow for more character customisation, allowing glasses and hats to be worn simultaneously in the future.Neowiz Games and Team Ninja worked together to bring two new Lies of P weaponry to the Wo Long Fallen Dynasty universe towards the end of September. In a letter, the director reaffirmed that the two will collaborate once again; additional information would be provided later.Officially, the Lies of P soundtrack is also on the way. In order to provide it "as swiftly as they can," the crew is working. It will include almost all of the game's soundtrack, with over 60 tunes overall.Ji Won Choi said that Neowiz is "fully dedicating ourselves to the development of the DLC" as the video came to an end and disclosed that the firm is actively recruiting to complete the project. At that point, Choi once again alluded to the game's impending DLC by revealing that he had "secretly sneaked sketches" for fans to enjoy. The two concept art screens are seen below.
