This location is ideal for rune farming in the endgame of Elden Ring.

Is Elden Ring grinding required? To make the extra effort to repeatedly, semi-mindlessly, smite down the same wretches? Not really. However, it won't deter us!

I was waiting for the dust to settle before highlighting any rune-farming locations. The greatest strategy for most of the game is to just wander to your heart's pleasure, deal with any hazards that arise, find those caverns and catacombs, and just play naturally. But when it comes to the endgame in Elden Ring, the community has worked out The Spot for rune farming. For maximal profits, it's even excellent enough to justify a respec.

Towards the conclusion of Elden Ring, you could find yourself feeling the need to harvest runes, especially for the last few monsters in the main plot and one specific optional encounter. Hell, sometimes it's simply great to vent your resentment on some random object rather than attempting to scale a massive, unyielding stone wall.

Because of the open nature of the game and the possibility of reaching zones that are somewhat "out of order," different players may have different ideas on what constitutes the ending. This is the reason I felt compelled to convey how much I like rune farming at this place. It's hidden away; in fact, it was the very last place I located in Elden Ring — long after I had completed the novel. It's a strange environment, full with large groups of vicious enemies.

This guide is for you if you have a gut feeling that Elden Ring is about to end.

If you want to bulk up before New Game+ or are nearing the finish line, check into it.

Consequently, Mohgwyn Palace is the address in issue. You can quickly surpass level 150 with it.This area is even more terrible than Caelid. The rotting southeast of Elden Ring is foreboding, but the blood-soaked Mohgwyn Palace is much more so. It seems like a really cursed location that is supposed to remain hidden. Ironically, however, rune farming is a great fit for it.Although there are other methods to get to Mohgwyn Palace, I found that taking a chance on a teleporter in a far-off place was the most straightforward. In Elden Ring, this is the manner.

How to go to Elden Ring's Mohgwyn Palace

You may reach Mohgwyn Palace by going through the eerie masked NPC at the start of Elden Ring, just in front of the Tree Sentinel boss. You may ultimately invade players to get the Pureblood Knight's Medal, which is your pass to Mohgwyn Palace, by conversing with him, defeating Godrick, talking some more, and looking for him at the Rose Church.Here is a summary of the steps needed to go from White Mask Varré to Mohgwyn Palace:

• Meet up with him at the Rose Church after talking to the two fingers at the Round Table Hold.
• Invade three players with the Festering Bloody Finger.
• Return to Varre and say yes to joining the Order. He’ll give you the Lord of Blood’s Favor.
• Go to the Church of Inhibition and interact with the corpse in Liurnia. You can then use that Maiden’s blood to progress.
• Return to Varre and exhaust his dialogue. He’ll eventually give you the Pureblood Knight’s Medal.
• Using this item will teleport you right outside of the area where you fight Mohg, Lord of Blood.

More power to you if you succeed in getting here early via White-Faced Varré's dubious questline (which I only partially completed); he appeared too shady in that Dark Souls. In a kind of "wait, why are all my NPCs suddenly dead?" manner. Palace Approach Ledge-Road, the location of grace you seek, is only a tumultuous horse ride away. You'll be set if you can ascend to the slope. I've included a snapshot of this Site of Grace that is accurate.For Elden Ring, the ideal rune-farming approach is to snipe a monstrous crow while avoiding a nearby group of enemies who are mostly idle. However, there is another way to farm lower-level characters at Mohgwyn Palace. The terrifying being is unforgiving when approached, yet it will flee off a cliff and perish if you shoot it with an arrow.Although I haven't really tried this strategy, I wanted to bring it up just in case your progress in Elden Ring coincides with it. Here's the route, along with an absurd farming setup, for myself and anybody else who has reached the end or bypassed the Varré quest.

Eventually arriving in Mohgwyn Palace by teleportation

The teleporter to Mohgwyn Palace is situated just west of the Inner Consecrated Snowfield site of grace, as shown by the red circle I placed there in the screenshot above.This portion of the map may not be familiar to you; if so, you will have to learn about it the hard way. For a long while, it seemed as if there could be a covert method to go from the higher Mountaintops of the Giants—which are on the crucial route of the main story—to this zone by utilizing strategically placed horse double-jumps. Nope! Rather, in order to get entry, you will have to discover it the hard way by riding an elevator (the Grand Lift of Rold) with the help of two strange objects: the two halves of the Haligtree Secret Medallion. One may be discovered in a Liurnia town, while the other is obtained from a boss in Castle Sol amid the Giants' snow-capped mountains.The teleporter (seen below) may not be operational when you find it. In order to get a trip to Mohgwyn Palace, you must remove a crimson phantom that is skulking about.

You'll appear in a cave after the teleporter is turned on. (Maybe you have a light with you!)Our objective is for you to walk outdoors at that point and see a sight of grace in the distance. Although it seems far away, you may call upon Torrent and sprint there. The difficult phase is over.

In the finale of Elden Ring, farming runes

Before I discuss any improvements, it is important to stress that this region is perfect for rune farming in general. About a dozen adversaries, some of whom are passive until assaulted, are located a short distance from this place of grace. Fighting them all at once is a horrible idea, but even if you just take it slow and grind out runes one kill at a time, the rewards are substantial.Ideally, you will use one of the several area-of-effect skills (or long-range spells) that are available in Elden Ring. to instantly and securely dispatch these tumbling Albinaurics. Reset, warp back in, and continue. This rune-farming location has an endgame setup that is *really nice*.The cheesy deliciousness of Wave of Gold

Here's where I had to momentarily respect my character: the sweet sauce (with no regrets, since it's worth it) — involves eliminating every enemy at once with an AoE ability. Because Ashes of War is configurable, there are several possibilities.Personally, I drew inspiration from a Paul Gilbert YouTube video, in which I created the Sacred Relic Sword by using the soul of the previous boss, also known as "Remembrance." (Image of spoiler.)

Requirements for Sacred Relic Sword

This firearm needs .14 Power, 24 Agility, 22 Belief, and its Wave of Gold ability discharges "a broad, golden wave" that just won't stop. I adjusted my stats to make it usable, upgraded it completely with my stash of Somber Smithing Stones, and went to town on these dudes with gray skin. I just had to press L2 once to do the job. .Mohgwyn Palace is worth discovering if you like the notion of walking a few feet, pressing a single button, warping back, and repeating the process a few more times to level up.While I regret not learning about this final rune farm before facing a particular pair, I can't really complain since it enabled me to win the most difficult (optional) battle in Elden Ring. Before New Game+, it's a good idea to stock up on things like smithing stones and boss armor.Indeed, 40K low-effort runes may be obtained in a matter of seconds.

Two last observations on rune farmingg

Elden RinAll rune farming in Elden Ring may generally be enhanced by the use of the Gold Scarab, a talisman discovered in an abandoned cave in Caelid. It's a confusing and challenging location to navigate, yet it's worthwhile to walk through the crimson decay.To enhance your rune farming even more, it would be beneficial to assemble a supply of Gold-Pickled Fowl Feet, a consumable item, if you're willing to engage in item making and all of its associated activities.For optimal efficacy, you may perform one, the other, or both — they stack.Additionally, setting group passwords is a low-effort approach to boost your Rune gains if you haven't already. Join a well-liked organization such as "SEEKERS" to get regular buffs.
