In the Final Fantasy XIV community, Maidy is probably a name you've heard of. Even if you don't instantly know that moniker, you've undoubtedly heard of the Netflix original comedy "Dad of Light."
It was once only a way to get a two-seater Chocobo via the Recruit a Friend Campaign, but it quickly expanded into much more. In the form of blog entries, Maidy started chronicling his adventures traveling with his father.
Ultimately, Maidy's Father of Light project evolved into a touching story about father and son bonding throughout the course of Eorzea, about healing broken family ties before it's too late. Millions of people read those blog postings, which attracted the interest of Netflix . They were then developed into a docu-drama with real-life actors and expertly staged sequences made entirely out of vanilla gaming video.

The Yok Huy in Urqopacha initially expressed this idea, and Sphene later on in the narrative reiterates it when she fights to save the Endless from being lost: death is not the end, and as long as you are remembered, you are never really gone.In addition, this NPC is wearing a regulator, which may, in accordance with Lore, resurrect anybody who has unintentionally fallen to death by infused with a recycled soul cell. Even while the legend regrettably states that these spirits cannot be used to bring back the dead, it is nonetheless a heartfelt statement. Now, Maidy is forever captured in the game that he cherished and that gave him and his father so much delight during their travels. His legacy is now in stone, and he will always be remembered. The very best of Endless, in fact.
