It's been over ten years since the debut of a new college football video game. With a few exceptions, you may adjust the match level whether you're playing the more competitive Ultimate Team mode or the more laid-back demonstration matches. Let's examine each of the possibilities that are accessible and what each has to offer.
College Football 25: An explanation of the difficulty modes
There are four game difficulty settings available.
- Freshman
- Varsity
- All-American
- Heisman
The simplest difficulty level in is Freshman.College Football 25, but Heisman gives athletes the toughest test. It is a common question to ask, "What is the best challenge?" Although there isn't one, there are, in my opinion, a few things to take into account when selecting the appropriate game difficulty levels.
- Freshman—This difficulty is for pure beginners who are new to football games. Since it is the easiest difficulty out of four, it offers players the time and room to learn the controls and understand the fundamentals of the game. This difficulty mode will feel boring for veterans, and they should avoid it.
- Varsity – While Varsity isn’t as easy as Freshman, it’s still pretty manageable. The AI will behave predictably, and this should be the go-to difficulty for beginners after spending a while on Freshman.
- All-American – If you’ve prior experience with the Madden NFL franchise, this is a good starting point. As you’re already aware of how the fundamentals work, this mode should provide a good test. Note that some of the mechanics in this game are different, so give yourself some time to learn them.
- Heisman – The most challenging difficulty, Heisman is best suited for those who regularly play the competitive modes in games. Given that College Football 25 is a new game, it’s best to start at All-American before gradually moving on to Heisman.
How can I adjust College Football 25's difficulty level?
You'll have to choose one of the four difficulty settings when you initially launch the game. Don't worry, you can always make a different decision later if you make the incorrect one.
- From the main menu, go to “Settings.”
- Go to “Game Options”
- Scroll down to find “Skill Level.”
- Select your choice, and go back.
Please take notice that all games allow you to choose the difficulty level you want, with the exception of those where you are playing against other human opponents.
