Certain locations, not all places, are used for fishing
With Sonic Frontiers, Sonic plunges into a semi-open-world adventure accompanied by the "greatest hits" of the genre, including a minigame centered on fishing. However, one may argue that Big the Cat really belongs here, considering its historical importance (depending on whom you ask).
This is a brief tutorial on how to go about fishing in the game.
Fishing must be done at fish symbols on the map in Sonic Frontiers.Consequently, you cannot just get a specific fishing rod item and fish wherever on the map: but, in the same vein, the minigame does not need the acquisition of a particular fishing rod either. There will be spots where you may start a minigame that Big the Cat is hosting. On the map, it will be shown with a fish symbol.Big will actually give you a little instruction on the procedure once you're in for purple fishing money, which you may get in the game world. You can spend green "treasure tokens,", which you can get by catching fish, on products at Big's store (more on that later).
Tapping while the white circle is in the red circle is all that is required to play the fishing minigame
.All you have to do is click the prompt button (X on a PlayStation system) when the white circle reaches the red circle after casting in an area where there are fish shadows in the water. On the island you're on, they allow for quick travel. That specific island has many sandboxes or islands dedicated to the Elder or Hermit Kocos (NPCs).
