When the game publishes on September 27, there will be some adjustments made to the various game modes in EA FC 25. Few, however, would have predicted that a purchased season pass would be available.
According to VG247's research, EA Sports' next game will provide an updated version of the current season pass, which can be seen in EA FC 24. The premium option may be bought with coins or FC points, albeit not all the facts are known as of this writing. In addition, it will provide prizes in Clubs, Career Mode, and Ultimate Team.
A paid season pass for EA FC 25 would be equitable for everybody
When a $70 AAA game introduces anything like a paid season pass, there's always a risk involved. When 2K revealed that NBA 2K24 will feature paid upgrades for the season passes last year, several questions were raised. Season passes have stayed free for the duration of EA FC 24 so far.
Ultimate Team producer Karthik Venkateshan told VG247 that in addition to the free track, the VIP pass would include other goodies that may be unlocked by doing certain tasks.
"For example, you can go back into the game and view the free tier as it was in 24; we're putting the premium pass on top of that. Clubs, Career, and Ultimate Team will all share that. For 25, that is new.
The Ultimate Team's Game Design Director, Richard Waltz, informed VG247 that gamers of EA FC 25 won't experience FOMO (Fear of Missing Out) as a result of the expensive season pass.
"There are no special benefits that require you to fulfill that requirement. Players, packs, and other items of that kind will be available in Clubs, along with customization choices. It's also important to know that you may choose since it will be offered for cash and FC Points.
The VG247 article claims that a pricing point has not yet been determined. When the premium season pass is released, it will be fascinating to watch how the community responds. It is also unclear whether they will be happy with the extra benefits that are being offered.
