Palworld's Yakumo acquisition method

You'll like the Sakurajima Summer update for Palworld, which introduces stunning sakura trees to the Palpagos, if cherry blossoms are your thing. The game now has a ton of additional stuff, including a new island, upgraded technologies, and more.

Of course, the update also includes new Pals that you may find and add to your squad. Yakumo, a stylish dog-like Pal, is one of the new pocket monsters in the Paldeck. You're in luck if you're looking for Yakumo since we'll teach you how to find them.

Where in Palworld

is Yakumo located?

The new island of Sakurajima will be the only location to locate a Yakumo. This new Sakurajima Pal is located specifically in the Dancing Sakura Shrine region.

Use the Moonflower Tower Entrance Fast Travel point if it's unlocked to get to the Yakumos location quickly. Alternatively, you may use the Secluded Cemetery Fast Travel point, although from there you'll need to go a little southeast.

The map below shows the location of the Yakumos spawn.

How to watch Sakurajima Update

with Yakumo

Yakumo may be captured, just like any other Pal, by depleting its health and then hurling a Pal Sphere at it. When you've located the Yakumo you want to capture, start a battle and try to reduce its health as much as possible without ending it.

Yakumo is weak against Dark-types since it is a Neutral-type Pal. In order to face Yakumo, bring a powerful combat Dark-type friend. For the strongest fighting skills, I suggest a Necromus or Shadowbeak, but because Yakumo isn't very powerful in combat, any Dark-type would suffice.

Throw a Pal Sphere at them after their health is sufficiently low to effectively capture them.

Using an egg incubator, you may also hatch Yakumo from a common egg. However, this procedure does take a little longer since there is no certainty that the egg will hatch into a Yakumo.

Basic Statistics, Work Suitability, and Yakumo Type

As was already explained, Yakumo is a Pal of the Neutral kind. Dark-types have no hold on them. Sadly, Neutral-type Pals have less power over other types. Even yet, Yakumo is just a level two in terms of Gathering job appropriateness, so you should still have them around your base.

Yakumo's basic stats are 85 for HP, 85 for Attack, and 85 for Defense. They are best maintained around bases for work collection and general aesthetic appeal since they aren't a very powerful Pal in battle.
