The Early Access first-person shooter Supplice has its second episode live, according to announcements from Hyperstrange and Mekworx.
In case you are unaware, Supplice is a newly integrated first-person shooter in GZDoom. Similar to Selaco, although not nearly as ostentatious, and now accessible. Prominent Doom modders are building it. Although I have early access, I have only completed the second mission. That is not an indictment. I just get sidetracked and haven't returned. You might take it as a criticism of my attention span, I suppose.
Five new tasks, several new creatures to drill into, and "new environmental interactions" are all included in this new episode. I instantly associate the term with flushing the toilet in Duke Nukem 3D. Mekworx means sucking monsters out of airlocks when they use it. Although that two ideas are similar, one is much more deadly.
Instead of finding monsters, Supplice accompanies Zorah Null on her first day of work as a terraformer. It's important to note that Supplice contains voice acting and has more of a story than Doom. The objective is to combine current and vintage design elements, similar to many shooters with a nostalgic feel. It is all the more believable since it is powered by an antiquated engine.
Supplice is now accessible on PC in Early Access. You may get the latest episode right now.
