However, check out this hip new artwork
The remaster of River City Girls Zero by WayForward has regrettably failed to achieve its planned 2021 release date. The developer said on Twitter that the knuckle-dusting 16-bit adventure will now be available for the Nintendo Switch in early 2022; it is unclear whether this will cause additional delays for platform transfers.
A completely translated remake of the 1994 Super Famicom release is River City Girls Zero. The Super Famicom game Shin Nekketsu Koha: Kunio-tachi no Banka introduced RCG heroines Misako and Kyoko for the first time in the Kunio-kun series. A completely translated version of the original game in all its tiny grandeur will be included in the remaster, along with a few adorable, manga-style cinematic scenes and a brand-new title music composed by the talented Megan McDuffee.
To counterbalance the announcement of the delay, WayForward unveiled new artwork for the remaster, which restructures the original Boxart for Shin Nekketsu Koha: Kunio-tachi no Banka features the contemporary heroines Kyoko and Misako with the veterans Kunio and Riki from Kunio-kun. With Kyoko donning her signature baseball bat, everyone is wearing a really throwback appearance!
In addition to the projected sequel, two games are scheduled for release in 2022: River City Girls Zero andRiver City Girls 2. From River City, an update Early 2022 is now the intended launch date for River City Girls Zero (also known as Shin Nekketsu Koha: Kunio-tachi no Banka), in order to provide the most accurate port and optimal experience.
