Fresh information on Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich is revealed in Genshin Impact.

Following the information-dense Teaser trailer for Natlan and Genshin Impact have revealed further information on the three new characters that will be included in Version 5.0. This concludes our knowledge of Mualani, Kachina, and Kinich.

Mualani, the Natlan shark-surfing guide

Mualani is one of the Springs People's guides. She will find you the finest way to anywhere you want to go since she is the one with the most knowledge about Natlan's landscape. She seems like a useful travel companion for when we eventually get to explore Natlan.

Mualani's character information verify that she uses Hydro, even though we haven't yet seen her weapon. Phoca Neomonachus is her constellation. In Latin, "Phoca" means "seal," while "Neomonachus" is the genus that includes monastic seals. It looks like a seal, but Mualani's Constellation is friends with a shark.

"Kachina," the courageous tiny pika

Kachina is a little girl whose tribe gave her the name "Uthabiti." Although the title may not be entirely apparent, the term itself is Swahili for "stability" or "steadfastness." Even though Kachina doesn't think she is a courageous young girl, it seems that her community does.

Kachina travels on a drill-shaped truck and has a Geo Vision with her. The scientific name for the little mouse that lives in mountains is the American Pika, or Ochotona Princeps, the Constellation. It's true that Kachina's spherical ears resemble pika ears' bigger, hairier counterpart. Despite pikas being tailless, she also has a little fluffy tail, which looks out of place. Perhaps it is only there for cuteness's sake.

Kinich, the hunter from Saurabia

Kinich is a hunter from Saurbia who has a brutal and practical reputation. It can't be simple to be a saurian hunter in a place where humans and saurians coexist primarily. Still, Kinich never fails to fulfill his commissions, regardless of the nature of the work. K'uhul Ajaw, his pixelated draconic companion, is still somewhat mysterious. Is he a ghost? A summoned familiar of sorts?As a Dendro user, Kinich had been seen in earlier trailers using a Claymore. His constellation is Chimaera Alebriius, a nod to the Mexican art of alebrije as well as a collection of creatures from Greek mythology.

The new drip marketing image features details about the characters as well as the overall Natlan design. The backgrounds for the Natlan characters are much more vibrant and stylized than those of preceding civilizations. They feature neon accent colors and a crude, painted appearance. The sides are decorated with emblems representing each of Natlan's six tribes, while the top still has the familiar Natlan Vision form and element symbols.Seeing the many worldwide sources of inspiration for the story and characters of Genshin Impact is fascinating. Regardless of their source of inspiration, a significant number of Genshin Impact characters have pale complexion, as many players have pointed out. Although some fans on Twitter/X are advocating for more diversity in the character designs of Genshin Impact, it remains to be seen whether HoYoverse will take a different turn.
