Addition of Thiollier to Elden Ring The questline in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC is quite lengthy and intricate. Please don't speed through this since it takes a lot of effort and covers the majority of the DLC's period. Though it seems to be the only time gating, you do want to do the instructions below before visiting Enir-IIlim.
Elden Ring's Thiollier's Questline
Step 1: Locate Thiollier near the intersection of Pillar Path and
Locating Thiollier should be your first priority. He may be found southeast of Castle Ensis at the Pillar Path Cross. Speak with him.Step 2: Head over to speak with Moore
It is possible to locate. You may speak with Moore at the Castle Gate Cross. Thiollier will offer you an item for him called Black Syrup, provided that you have previously had a conversation with him. Moore is a bit of a wheeler and trader who is often assigned to find items for other non-player characters.Step 3: Return to Thiollier at the intersection of Pillar Path and
Give the Black Syrup to Thiollier when you get back. He will be very appreciative and compliment Moore's aptitude for finding elusive items. Make sure to question him about it after giving him the black syrup, and then choose the conversation option that says, "I am tired of life." If you follow this, he will offer you a Concoction.Step 4: Proceed with the game play
Explore the game further until you are able to break Miquella's enchantment on everyone. as this occurs, a notification will appear on the screen; it should happen as you approach the Shadow Keep or other locations. Once you see the message "somewhere, a great rune has broken, and so too has a powerful charm" on your screen, it's time to return to Pillar Path Cross and have another conversation with Thiollier. He'll tell you that he's heading south. He'll discuss St. Trina, a well-known figure from the main game.Step 5: Traveling to the Cerulean Coast in the south
From the location where you discover Thiollier, you must continue southeast until you reach the Dragon's Pit. You must survive it all in order to reach the Jagged Peaks. It's a scary location with some entertaining battles. There are many terrifying battles to be found after you arrive, but you may also just go south to reach the Cerulean Coast by heading toward the Dragon Communion Altar.Phase 6-Deep into the Fissure
It's time to explore the Stone Coffin Fissure now. It will now be open to access since Miquella is no longer able to block it off, for anybody who was here prior to breaking the big rune. On the south side, you may enter by leaping from ledge to ledge. Just go cautiously to avoid falling to your doom. There is just one primary way ahead, so once you are within the Fissure proper, the trek is rather easy. This location is filled with adversaries. There are giants brandishing clubs, those armored birds I detest, bones that reassemble if you don't tear them apart, and an abundance of worms never seen before. Keep moving ahead with patience and by taking the obvious route. You will eventually reach an odd Site of Grace with a large number of animals grouped around. To get to this very beautiful but risky location, climb the neighboring stairs and leap from the statue's head. You may choose to call forth Thiollier as you descend into a sizable region. Though I did it just to be cautious, I haven't been able to determine whether you need to summon him for his task. The Purtrescent Knight is a formidable foe who will probably give you fits. You will now have to battle him. When you take him out, advance and seize the new Site of Grace. For some reason, this makes you think of Orphan of Kos riding a horse. The Garden of Deep Purple is the name of this location.Proceeding to Thiollier in Step 7
You may discover Thiollier by following the purple-lit tunnel. Being in St. Trina's presence is overwhelming for him, since he is not feeling well. He says he's going to go into a deep slumber, having drank some of her poison. Additionally, he claims that this poison is just for him and that you are a greedy person. Reload into the region once again, being certain to use up every conversation choice available to him both times.Nectar time in Step 8
You must now converse with St. Trina and choose whether or not to consume the nectar. It is necessary for you to consume a large amount of it up to four times. You will perish each time, but the Tarnished don't care about that! Simply return each time and have another drink. When you return the second time, Thiollier will be pleading with St. Trina for more poison and requesting that you leave him alone. St. Trina will speak to you after your fourth drink, pleading with you to save Miquella from becoming a deity.Tell Thiollier this; he'll be a little irritated that you heard St. Trina's voice before him. Tell it to him again, and he will get even more irate with you since he won't truly believe you.Step 9: Thiollier becomes enraged
Though he didn't, Thiollier was incredibly annoyed that you could talk to St. Trina. He makes the bold decision to toss hands, which is unusual for a boy who has just been sobbing in a cave. He isn't much of a scrapper, as he admitted, but he does have some intriguing poison attacks. Basic dodge rolling takes care of him, and dealing with him is not too difficult. He does, however, regain some manners after that and returns to the cave to weep there once again.Step 10: Give Thiollier the words.
Return to the cave and have another conversation with Thiollier. This time, you'll find him to be a little more open to things. To engage in further conversation with St. Trina, you must sip the nectar twice more since you won't be presented with a dialogue choice. She'll tell you that godhood will be more of a prison than anything else and that it's not exactly what Miquella needs. After that, she'll beg you to murder him and pardon him.Speak with Thiollier once again, relay the message, and try not to notice how certain he is. You won't be able to hear him snoring after that, so there won't be much need in consuming additional nectar.Huge Spoilers for
