Act 2 of the Destiny 2: Echoes teaser kind of teases the Conductor.

When you're prepared to resume using live support after relishing Bungie's iconic Marathon 2: Durandal Now is the perfect moment to do so on Steam, as the developer has released a stylish new trailer for the Echoes - Act 2 seasonal drop for Destiny 2. Is it a prank? the menacing Conductor's arrival.

Although the Conductor has previously been shown to us via computer-generated imagery and cutscenes, the most recent Echoes – Act 2 teaser shows them appearing inside the framework of an in-game scenario, where they raise two Vex Precursors to presumably carry out their orders. Of course, the Conductor's identity is still a mystery, but their frame does appear to indicate that they are at least feminine, which supports the most popular beliefs about who they are.

The latest trailer for Echoes - Act 2 has an in-game visit by Conductor from Destiny 2.

Echoes - Act 1's subdued opening is now gone; the more conventionally ostentatious Destiny 2 action set-pieces are now front and center. Act 2 of the Echoes season will bring with it new quests and a new storyline. In addition, two new weapons will be available: the Corrasion pulse rifle and the morphing Aberrant Action rocket sidearm. Arc and solar weaponry, in that order. I will be overjoyed if they are even somewhat more helpful than the Lost Signal area-denial grenade launcher. The three new Battleground objectives are the most significant of the new activities. While they will undoubtedly be entertaining on their own, may eventually drive the Vanguard Ops playlist even further into tedium. However, the reason they're intriguing is that they will effectively serve as story material, with each one taking place successively as the Guardians go farther into Nessus's interior. Along with several item enhancements, there will also be new Artifact Mods added. Naturally, we must also remember that Act 2 will have the Solstice event at some point. Finally, it should be noted that while Bungie plans to remove time-gates starting with the second season of the year (Revenant, in particular), they will remain in place for the length of Acts 2 and 3 of the Echoes season. If Bungie had chosen to remove time-gates even earlier, things would have been fantastic , but as things are, we will have to spend the next several months watching transitional stuff. Naturally, this is not a major issue for those who are regularly monitoring Destiny, but it is still something to consider.
