You probably don't think of battling an endless swarm of zombies when you first think of Call of Duty,. As much a part of the Call of Duty series as its multiplayer and campaign modes, that is, until the Zombies mode became a mainstay.
Many players have been hooked to Zombies since its debut in Call of Duty: World at War because it offers a fun co-op diversion from the series' normal modes. But now that the mode is included in so many titles, the number of maps that are available has increased dramatically. The top 13 Zombies maps from all Call of Duty games are listed here.
13. Night of the Dead - "World at War"
This map may have shown while the credits were rolling if you had just finished the campaign for Call of Duty: World at War,. At first, players couldn't access "Nazi Zombies" unless they finished the main plot. Players would launch straight into Nacht Der Untoten, the first Zombies map, once the credits had rolled. This little location, which translates to "Night of the Undead," was a modified replica of a structure from the campaign task "Hard Landing."
The zombies march to the many windows, trapping players within the structure with no way out. After then, it would be your mission to repel the zombies for as long as you could. Nacht is a simple level that concentrates on the round-based survival game mechanic. By killing zombies, players may earn points that they can use to buy weapons to bolster their armory. Buying them from the chalk drawings on the walls, obtaining the sniper from the upper cabinet, or taking a chance by unlocking the bottom floor room's "Mystery Box" are some possible ways to do it.
Because the zombie attack was unrelenting and there was no sign of rescue in sight, players were left with nothing to depend on except their abilities.
12. TranZit-Black Ops II
One of the first games that introduced me to the now-classic round-based matches of Zombies mode was Black Ops II. TranZit, a one-to-four-player cooperative game where participants travel a lethal picturesque route, was perhaps the most talked-about map at its peak. The bus's loading and dropping off times will be controlled by driver T.E.D.D. as you get on and off.
Even if I really want this to be a throwback treasure, it just can't compete with the current Zombies mode. It can be much too much to manage, especially considering how tiny the bus is and how many zombie hordes there are. Additionally, since it seems like there is no hope of surviving, it's not the positive type of overpowering to which I've become used. You are not only burned alive by the lava on the ground, but it is also almost hard to see because of the fog.
I won't even begin to discuss the Thrustodyne Aeronautics Model 23 (Jet Gun), also known as the Wonder Weapon. After going through all the effort of creating this gadget, players will find that it hardly kills any zombies. Additionally, it causes you to move more slowly than normal, which is absurd in the fast-paced world of Zombies mode. Simply said, the rewards aren't fulfilling enough to justify the effort.
Notwithstanding its shortcomings, TranZit revolutionized the Call of Duty franchise.Buildables were initially introduced in Zombies mode, and since then, they have been a series mainstay, even being expanded upon in Modern Warfare 3. We are grateful to TranZit for its pioneering gameplay and features, which opened the path for the series' development.

11. Der Weg - The World in Conflict
Der Reise, also known as "The Giant," was the last map released to players during the development of World at War. It was included as DLC among other multiplayer maps. The mode has changed since the zombies first showed up in Nacht Der Untoten, going from defending a specific area to a larger map where let the undead in didn't mean your crew was doomed.Der Reise places players at a facility controlled by the enigmatic "Group 935," which is the epicenter of the zombie epidemic. Dedicated players could listen to the numerous radios scattered across the map to learn about the tale of Dr. Edward Richtofen, his partner Ludvig Maxis' betrayal, and the horrifying creation of the undead army—which includes the hellhounds that attack the player every five rounds—even though the lore wasn't the main focus of the gameplay.Der Reise strengthened the game's "Perk-a-Cola" feature as well. Der Reise has just acquired a brand-new Pack-a-Punch machine. You might now upgrade your preferred weapons to become more potent versions by investing in them. A handgun that fired explosive bullets would be awarded to players who were wise enough to persist with subpar weapons like the Colt M1911, indicating to them that all guns are worthwhile upgrading at least once.Players had much to ponder as they awaited the release of Treyarch's next game, Der Reise, since its high replayability and official introduction of the series' narrative left them with unanswered issues.
10. Black Ops II
is buried. The Zombies mode in Call of Duty Black Ops II has a Wild West setting on the Buried map. The term comes from the fact that everything is entirely covered with debris and that there is nowhere to go. There are several tools at your disposal as the new sheriff in the area, such Perk Colas and guns that can create pictures on chalk. One of the rare maps that include an NPC assistant with the powerful Arthur is Buried. Once you have him on your side with some Candy or Booze, he will quickly take care of zombies. It's also very good for lone gamers who want someone to cover for them. My personal favorite weapon on this map, apart from Arthur, is the Ray Gun Mark II, which increases every aspect of its original design to create an even more lethal weapon. With it, you may tackle the special challenge in the haunted house. In this game, players will face off against a spectral lady who likes to take money from your pockets. Since cash plays a major role in the Zombies mode (granting you new weapons and upgrades), it's an exciting challenge that will put your reflexes and agility to the test. It's also entertaining to use the Wonder Weapons, such as the Time Bomb and the Paralyzer. While the Time Bomb transports you back in time to gather earlier items, the Paralyzer aids in slowing down zombies. Buried stands out among the maps because to its numerous useful features, and exploring its vintage western setting is just plain enjoyable.
9. Black Ops
AscensionAscension improves upon the knowledge gained from earlier maps while introducing novel and engaging dynamics. The player enters the map via a lunar lander at the beginning of it. The power plant must be turned on in order to restore color once it fades to monochrome.Players may fire a rocket that is positioned in the backdrop to unlock the area containing the Pack-a-Punch by riding lunar landers between the three primary spots on the level. The map works similarly to Der Reise, but before you can ride it, you have to summon the lunar lander to each spot. The little pause time and the quick trip back to the beginning give the player few opportunities to recover and reload before resuming the battle. The hellhounds are gone from special rounds, but fearsome space monkeys that target the Perk Machines that players have used have taken their place. Players may get a free perk and get around the four perk restriction that all maps impose if they stop before causing any harm to the perks.Players were also introduced to "Easter Eggs" in Ascension, which are mini-quests that they may do in a session to earn prizes and have an immediate effect on the series' storyline. Although Ascension's map isn't as prominent and isn't as complicated as other maps, having access to a 90-second Death Machine—a potent weapon—is a nice perk for the most adept zombie killers. The ideal map for any kind of gamer is Ascension. The unusual rounds keep players alert, although the maps are not too unlike from those in World at War in terms of intricacy.Screenshot provided by Ontario Online Casino
8. Black Ops
Kino Der TotenThe first map available to players in Call of Duty: Black Ops is Kino. Originally intended to be an add-on map for World at War, it now serves as the "on-disc" location for Treyarch's next game. This was advantageous since the Zombies mode's distinctive look and new engine helped it become what it is today. The Theater of the Dead, or Kino Der Toten, is a great option for novice Black Ops gamers. Its straightforward layout leads you around the theater on all sides, via the backstage area or from the alleyway onto the stage. Players have lots of space to train zombies in the wide part of the stage after the electricity is switched on. To play Pack-a-Punch, all players need to do is connect a single teleporter to the pad they used to launch the game. It offers a little respite from the zombie swarm and a secure location to update your weaponry.Because the two routes are connected, there are many ways to play by avoiding opening the doors on either side of the map. These tactics allow for effective camping techniques that make use of the traps located all throughout the level.Even the most devoted Zombies fans will return to Kino Der Toten, despite the fact that it's not the most complicated map. For this reason, it has a special place in the hearts of many gamers.Screenshot provided by Ontario Online Casino
7. Black Ops III
- Shadows of EvilShadows of Evil, Black Ops III's on-disc map, stands in stark contrast to Kino Der Toten. the switch in gameplay from simpler to more intricate terrain, which began in Origins. The H.P. Lovecraft-inspired style of Shadows of Evil, drawing inspiration from both Mob of the Dead and Origins, recontextualizes the numerous features that players like about the levels used in Black Ops II. To access the Pack-a-Punch Machine, players must complete four rituals scattered around the area during the protracted "set-up phase" of the game. Similar to how afterlife mode worked in Mob of the Dead, players had to engage Beast Mode in order to unlock chambers and activate perk machines. The primary intersection connecting all four of the map's locations, the center hub underneath, may also be unlocked by players in this manner. After the setup is over, there is a ton of more material in Shadows of Evil. While traveling by rail, you may look for secret symbols in the décor that will allow you to open a subterranean wall and start the hunt for the Apothicon Sword. This way, you can add another weapon to your collection without using up a weapon slot. You may also get the Civil Protector, a mechanical automaton that will assist you in fighting the undead for a brief period of time, by finding three fuses scattered across the area.Shadows of Evil is a great map for fans who want a challenge with plenty of things to do around every corner, even if it's not the best map to introduce players to the Zombies mode.Created by Ontario Online Casino; screenshot
6. Infinite Warfare
Zombies in SpacelandChoosing to create their own version of Zombies for Infinite Warfare, Infinity Ward created one of the few maps on this list that wasn't created by Treyarch. This version of the game mode featured a more humorous spin on the original, with whole new mythology and maps that drew inspiration from classic movie genres.Players were transported to an incredible theme park from the 1980s with zombies and otherworldly attractions in their premiere map, Zombies in Spaceland. Using three teleporters located around the park, players must first activate the upgrade machine in a gameplay cycle eerily reminiscent of Treyarch's earlier games.Still, there was more for gamers to do in Spaceland than just survive. Several of the theme park's attractions, such the whirling Escape Velocity and the uncontrollably fast bumper cars, may be used to aid in the destruction of the undead. There are a ton of real interactives on the map as well; you may earn tickets by riding the rollercoaster or participating in one of the numerous arcade games in the Astrocade. These tickets can then be used to purchase a variety of practical items. In this updated version, perks were also included. They took the shape of "Perk Candies," but they still had the same benefits as the Treyarch maps. In Infinite Warfare,, perks that had previously been removed—such the PhD Flopper—returned. Some perks, like Trailblazers, which created a trail of fire when a player slid over the ground, were even inspired by user requests. Players aren't too far behind when they die in Spaceland either. If you were to bleed out, you would be sent to the Afterlife Arcade, where you may play entertaining arcade games to rejoin the battle before the round ended.Without deviating from the prescribed path, Infinity Ward was able to personalize Treyarch's mode and produce one of the most innovative interpretations of it.
5. Black Ops III Der Eisendrache
The Primis crew, which includes the alternative universe versions of Richtofen, Dempsey, Nikolai, and Takeo that players encountered in Origins, is returning in the first DLC map for Black Ops III. "The Iron Dragon," also known as Der Eisendrache, transports players to a medieval stronghold commanded by the enigmatic Group 935. There, they must battle an assault of undead, featuring unique foes like Hellhounds and Panzer Soldats.A Wonder Weapon with four variations—one for each player—returns from Origins. Players may get the Wrath of the Ancients by feeding the dragons all across the map. There are four bow varieties that may be improved, and each has deadly effects of its own. Low gravity and wall-running, two features of the BO3's sophisticated mobility system, are also introduced in this level.Der Eisendrache also introduces the primary plot of BO3. In an effort to "Secure a Better Tomorrow," Richtofen will take the Summoning Key—a tool for gathering souls—away after you've finished the main objective in Shadows of Evil.Gamers have the option to complete the main quest in order to enter Ultimis Dempsey's body and use the summoning key to rescue his soul. The first-ever official boss battle in the history of Zombies ensues from this. But the map strikes the ideal mix between intricacy and accessibility thanks to its buildability, replayability, and Wonder Weapons, which easily places it on our list.
4. Modern Warfare III Urzikstan
Though the famous round-based modes are gone from MW3 Zombies, I honestly think this is a positive development for the franchise. Team camaraderie is redefined as 24 Operators, instead of the customary four players, may collaborate across the diseased Urzikstan. You would think that with so many players available, it would be easy, but it seems to grow harder every time. There are three Threat Level Zones on the map: Medium, High, and Low. Until they are finally prepared to take on the High Threat Zone, players will begin in the Low tier. It's essentially the same as Round 40 of a typical Zombies run, but with much more obstacles than you could have imagined. Your heart will surely be pounding thanks to the elite zombies, who range from the massive Mega Abomination to the life-sucking Disciples. To finish and provide players Essence, the Urzikstan map uses a variety of Contracts. MW3 Zombies money. The majority of activities may be finished fast, including escort quests, area guarding, and bounty takedowns. After that, you may use all of your hard-earned money to purchase further buffs from the Buy Station, Pack-a-Punch, or Perk Cola machines. If you like Zombies mythology, the Urikstan map reveals a lot of information about previous entries in the series. These narrative-driven Story Missions offer players goals to accomplish in order to get additional prizes. The objectives are designed to provide players a greater grasp of the Zombies world while also immersing them in the game's mythology. The Schematics you get from the Story Missions presents is one of my favorite things about them. Operators may construct things before to entering the map, although with cooldowns, which saves a significant amount of time. The one-hour time restriction is my only complaint since it goes very quickly. Since players could spend endless hours playing it thanks to the prior round-based features, MW3 Zombies was the most restricted mode. Nevertheless, it's one of the most enjoyable experiences I've had in Zombies, , and with more improvements, Urzikstan will only grow better.
