Don't refer to it as a return...
Developer Sunsoft from the 1990s, best known for its assortment of 16- and 8-bit platformers and licensed adventures, has announced that it would have a special digital presentation the next week to reveal a number of games that will be out in 2022 and 2023.
According to a press statement from Sunsoft general manager Yuichi Ochi, "many things have been happening behind the scenes, although we have been quiet for some time." "We are thrilled to finally be able to share with both new and old fans our vision for the rebirth of Sunsoft."
Sunsoft was first established in 1978 as a division of the illustrious Sun Corporation. It primarily catered to the electronic gaming industry for the majority of the 1980s before branching out into video games with a number of NES titles, such as Blaster Master, Fester’s Quest, Xenophobe, Batman, and Gremlins 2: The New Batch. Sunsoft started producing and releasing games for the 16-bit platform in the early 1990s. They made a ton of, to put it mildly, mediocre platformers, brawlers, and adventure games for the Sega Genesis and SNES. The platforming superstar Aero the Acro-Bat. is perhaps Sunsoft's most well-known character.
Even though Sunsoft went bankrupt in 1995, the company has continued to operate in the market, although very little. It's probable that the business may reveal numerous studio portfolio comebacks during next week's presentation since it asked fans last year which of its old IPs they would want to see remastered or recreate.
On Thursday, August 18 at 13:00 PT / 16:00 ET / 21:00 BST, Sunsoft will host a digital event that may be seen on the company's official YouTube page. Naturally, we'll make sure to provide you with all the information right here on Ontario Online Casino.
