You may be surprised to learn more about Juno, the newest Support Hero to enter the ranks of Overwatch 2, as Blizzard revealed her today. This weekend is Juno's playable period, so you may test out her skills before she comes in August.
Juno is a Support Hero who has the ability to both inflict and cure pain. She is a Martian who uses a rifle equally as deadly as Shadow the Hedgehog to skate around the arena on antigravity skates. It seems that Juno's weapon, the Mediblaster, may both hurt and heal teammates, taking a cue from Ana. It's a burst weapon that resembles an SMG more than a sniper, however.
Overwatch 2This weekend, you may play's newest support hero
.Juno will be available for you to test out as part of a brief hero trial that runs from July 19 to July 21. Until she is added to the game's cast on August 20, when Season 12 launches, this will be your best chance.
From her trailer, it's clear that Juno is all about vertical motion and speed. She has a Glide Boost ability that allows her to float, allowing her to jump into the air. She seems to be able to use it to give a vicious kick, which is probably against the Hippocratic Oath. When she and her companions enter the field created by her Hyper Ring, they accelerate. If it combines with Lucio's speed increase, a new rush tactic is most likely in order.
There are a few harmful maneuvers included. Her Pulsar Torpedoes may do damage or heal by locking onto both foes and friends. Orbital Ray, her ultimate move, seems to be a gigantic beam that progressively sweeps the field to increase ally damage and healing.
